[Tasker] Todo list

Which Tasker tasks I'm going to post soon:

  • React to content of WhatsApp messages in Tasker
  • Sync data between different android devices and display in one synced widget
  • Configure an emergency message which will force the phone to make a loud sound, even in silent mode
  • Boot computer when coming home
  • Less energy expensive accurate GSM based location checks
  • Extreme energy saving mode (only 1% battery usage per hour)
  • Extract information from different websites and display it compact in one scene
  • Force reconnection to automatically deactivated WiFi networks
  • Create a widget which displays the last WhatsApp an SMS messages of a chosen person
  • Create a slick widget which takes spy photos without any notification or other evidence
  • Make a Jarvis like assistant (Iron Man)

  4. Benny, I am really waiting for your creation where you created a widget synced between you and your girlfriend's homescreen. That can be very useful! waiting for you to post that! :D

  5. I've kept this page open in a chrome tab for almost 2 months now - "eager" doesn't even begin to cover my feelings about your Jarvis app.

    1. Im sorry Alexander,
My phone was broken and I had too much work to do. I'm writing this blog in my spare time. I will post what I have at the moment hopefully this week :O

    2. Oh, that came off like a complaint, didn't it?
I meant it more as encouragement - this is cool stuff you're doing!
I'm also looking fwd to that "email pics of people who put in the wrong unlock code" script.
Would it make a difference if my phone is encrypted using the android baked in encryption? Because once you encrypt, I think the unlock has to be a pin, and not a pswd or a pattern...

  6. I'm most curious about your lock screen security Task that you had written about on another site. How have you been able to detect if the password that was input was incorrect or not? I didn't feel like rooting mine yet so I'm using the lock screen scene that just covers everything when I'm not on my home or work wifi, I just can't figure out how to detect if the password was incorrect or not.

    Thanks!

BTW, great work here, some cool ideas that I hadn't even thought of.

  7. I Can't seem to find the "start computer when I get home" task. I've seen videos on youtube, how they turn on/off computer and television but cannot find how to set it up with tasker+autovoice anywhere. Would be great if you post a "how-to" in your blog!
